Job summary

Advocate Health Mercy is seeking an experienced RN to join the 6 South Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit in Charlotte, NC. This full-time night-shift role covers three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm–7am, with weekend and holiday requirements.

You will provide and coordinate patient care, leveraging evidence-based practice to ensure safety and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate has 1 year of inpatient nursing experience (6 months minimum outside New Grad residency), holds an RN license in the

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

6 South is a 34-bed Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. Most common diagnoses are:

• COPD
• Pneumonia
• Diabetic Ulcer
• Pancreatitis, Abdominal Pain
• Altered mental status, ESRD
• A Nurse on our Unit will gain experience in drains of all kinds, wound vacs, central lines, NGT, DHT, and all surgical things!

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.At least 6 months required experiencetocome inoutside of the New Grad residency program.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
