About the Unit

Our 13-bed Medical Surgical unit is more than just a workplace – it's a family. We foster a warm, inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere where everyone supports one another. We focus on treating the whole person—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans under limited supervision. Interpret and perform complex patient-care procedures specific to your expertise.
  • Collaborate with the Care and Support Teams to achieve patient outcomes as outlined in the care pathway/plan.
  • Provide responsible and accountable care to a group of patients for a designated time frame, utilizing therapeutic self, nursing process, environment/technology, and healthcare team members according to standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current RN license in Georgia.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Completion of a refresher course within the past 6 months if nursing practice has not occurred in the past 5 years.
  • Prior experience preferred; new graduates considered.
