Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to provide high-quality, safe patient care and coordinate the patient's experience across the nursing process.

This role requires Florida RN licensure (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS for telemetry units, and a commitment to infection control and teamwork within a 536-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license is required to practice.
• BSN is preferred by the facility.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required for telemetry and higher acuity units.

Responsibilities

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and conveys information shared at meetings.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
• Assists patients, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Adheres to environmental care standards and supports varied age-specific patient populations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Shift: Nights

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing are to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
• Assists all patient's, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Adheres to the following environmental care standards.
• Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION: Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. Preferred: BSN
• EXPERIENCE: NoneREQUIRED
• Certifications/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
  • Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
