Job summary

Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse for a Day shift in a full-time role. You will provide direct patient care, participate in rounds and meetings, and uphold infection control and environmental standards to support patient safety.

Florida RN licensure is required; BSN preferred. Current BLS; ACLS and Basic EKG interpretation are also important for telemetry and higher-acuity units. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Florida RN licensure required or pending licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS may be required for telemetry units.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Report for scheduled shift on time and be prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attend meetings and communicate information accurately.
• Adhere to hospital policies 100% of the time.
• Assist patients, families, physicians, visitors and staff professionally.
• Follow infection control procedures at all times.
• Adhere to environmental care standards.
• Care for varied age-specific patient populations.

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.
• Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
• Assists all patient s, family members, physicians, visitors and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
• Adheres to the following environmental care standards.
• Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION:
• Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN
• EXPERIENCE: None
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
• Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
