Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital, part of The Valley Health System, seeks an RN to provide safe, patient-centered care in a high-volume acute care setting. You will lead the healthcare team and ensure adherence to policy while promoting Service Excellence.

The role requires an accredited nursing education, Nevada RN licensure, and on-going professional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS/NRP as required. BSN is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active Nevada RN license.
• One year acute care experience or completion of a specialty course.
• BSN preferred.

Job Description:

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent. BSN preferred.

Experience:One year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

License/Certification:Current RN license in the State of Nevada.

Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Other:Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service
