Job summary

UT Health Pittsburg Hospital is seeking a Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift, full-time role in Pittsburg, TX. The RN will provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing activities before and during surgical procedures.

Experience in the operating room and current Texas RN licensure are required; BLS is mandatory within 14 days of hire and ACLS is preferred. Join a team committed to excellent patient care in a modern facility.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame before and during a surgical procedure.

• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
