AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Surgical PCU, night shift, on-site in Celebration, FL. The role focuses on comprehensive nursing care, patient assessment, and coordination of care for thoracic, cardiovascular, and vascular patients.

Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases up to 20% through the Clinical Ladder Program based on experience and advancement. Association with a team that prioritizes growth and patient-centered care is emphasized.

Job Description:

Unit Highlights:

• AdventHealth Celebration's Surgical PCU is a 32 bed unit that provides excellent care for multicultural patients that come from all over the world for thoracic, cardiovascular, and vascular surgeries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.

• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
