**Schedule:** Full Time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts

**Shift** : Night 7pm-7am (with rotating weekends and holidays)

**The community you’ll be caring for:** The Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 36-bed PCU that cares for patients recovering from major surgeries. This is a fast-paced and team-oriented environment where you build a strong foundation in progressive care, surgical recovery, and critical thinking. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

**The role you’ll contribute:** The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.

**The value you’ll bring to the team:**

· Demonstrates effective assessment skills to ensure quality patient care is provided.

· Performs and documents accurate initial assessment per unit standard.

· Observes and monitors patient lab work for trends and reports abnormal lab tests to the appropriate physician and obtains appropriate interventions.

· Utilizes clinical data to implement appropriate interventions.

· Performs and documents ongoing patient assessment.

**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:**

**Minimum qualifications** :

· Graduate of school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree or diploma

· Active Florida RN license or active multi-state RN license

**Preferred qualifications:**

· Bachelors (BSN) degree

· Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

· Stepdown

· Intermediate Care

· ACLS
