Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting at our Rock Hill facility.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an active Multi-State RN license, and BLS. ACLS/NIHSS are expected during orientation, with a sign-on bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Must hold a valid Multi-State RN license or equivalent.
• BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire; ACLS and NIHSS during ICU orientation.

• Develops and documents individualized care plans within designated timeframes.
• Performs patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competency.
• Verifies and reconciles medication and test orders, ensures proper scheduling, and manages pre-op data and consent forms.
• Adheres to medication and IV therapy policies, monitors for adverse reactions, and ensures patient safety.
• Interprets diagnostic data, takes appropriate actions, and communicates critical lab results per protocols.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote quality care and patient safety.
