Activities are carried out in accordance with the Scope and Standards of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing of the Kansas State Board of Nursing’s Practice Act. The nurse in this position demonstrates a high level of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of the complex responses of individuals, families, or communities to actual or potential health problems, prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
