Job summary

OSF HealthCare is hiring a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health across the continuum. You will collaborate with providers and the care team to coordinate patient care, assess symptoms, and support patients and families both emotionally and professionally.

The role requires IL or MI RN licensure, BLS, and preferred BSN with experience in healthcare settings. EMR and MS Office proficiency are expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the state board in Illinois or Michigan.
• BLS certification required prior to start date.
• BSN degree preferred; RN experience in healthcare settings is valued.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and basic Microsoft applications.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan). Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
