Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to protect, promote and restore health across the care continuum. You will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and care coordination.

Requirements include current RN licensure in IL or MI and BLS certification; preferred BSN with RN experience and EMR/MS Office proficiency. This is an hourly, on-site role with a weekend differential and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care coordination across the continuum.
• Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary care team members.
• Assess physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients, families and friends.

Pay range for this position is $37.05 - $54.54/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Stackable Pay Incentives:

This position includes a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.

Overview

Position Summary:

Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment
• Other skills/knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
