Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Texas Health HEB in Bedford, TX. This full-time position provides a 36-hour workweek with a Fri–Sun day shift (6:30am–7:00pm) and no on-call requirements.

Requirements include a Nursing Diploma/ADN or BSN, and BCLS certification; OR experience is highly valued. The role offers a team-based culture with strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RN must hold a valid nursing license and BCLS certification.
• One year of OR experience is highly preferred.
• RN education: Diploma/ADN or BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical team to coordinate patient care and workflows.
• Adhere to hospital policies, sterilization and aseptic technique.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with staff.

Here’s What You Need

• Nursing Diploma required OR
• Associate's Degree Nursing required OR
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 1 year of OR experience highly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required AND
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
