Job summary

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital provides leadership in patient care during surgical procedures, coordinating and evaluating care, and delegating activities to the health care team.

This full-time role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, and a BSN/ADN path with commitment to obtaining BSN within five years; offers a Nurse Residency Program, comprehensive benefits, Tuition Reimbursement, DailyPay, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
• BLS required.
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care during a designated timeframe.
• Teach and delegate patient activities to other health care team members via the nursing process.
• Utilize therapeutic use of self to support patient care and safety.

Summary

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
