Trinity Health Livonia in Michigan is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time rotating-shift role. The hospital provides comprehensive acute care services and a supportive team environment.

The RN will manage patient care, coordinate and evaluate care, teach and delegate activities to the health care team, using nursing processes.

A BSN is preferred; an active Michigan RN license and BLS are required; opportunities for growth and residency programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred; willingness to pursue within five years.
• Current RN licensure in Michigan required.
• BLS certification required.
• Prior medical-surgical experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency and strong customer service skills are required.
• ICU/critical care experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
• BLS required.
• Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
• Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
• ICU/Critical Care Experience strongly preferred.
