Trinity Health Livonia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the operating room to join a full-service, 304-bed hospital in Livonia, MI. The role supports a busy OR with robotics-equipped suites and a focus on patient-centered care.

The RN will coordinate perioperative care, collaboratively plan patient progression, and ensure safety and quality through evidence-based practices. A BSN is preferred, and the team offers strong benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in medical-surgical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• RN is accountable for management of patient care during a designated timeframe.
• Coordinate and evaluate care, teach, and delegate to health care team members.
• Utilize nursing process and therapeutic use of self in the environment.

Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed level II trauma acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. Through several major expansions in the hospital, programs and services, Trinity Health Livonia continues to offer the latest in quality health and medical services. The hospital has 8 Operating Rooms, 3 are dedicated to Robotics.

SUMMARY

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years. Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required. BLS required. Previous medical surgical experience preferred. Must be computer proficient and have excellent customer service skills.
