Required Qualifications:

In this vital role, you will partner closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care and patient support services. You will play a key role in ensuring that care provided meets established standards, promotes optimal patient outcomes, and supports organizational quality and safety goals.
Partner with the Nurse Manager to assess, plan, manage, and evaluate nursing care and daily operations within our Surgical Services department.
Ensure streamlined and effective patient care delivery systems that support smooth transitions across the continuum of care.
Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to maintain an efficient and high-functioning unit.
Drive clinical excellence through participation in departmental goal-setting and performance improvement initiatives.
Support financial stewardship through effective operational and resource management.
Facilitate orientation, training, ongoing education, and performance evaluations for nursing staff.
Cultivate a collaborative, team-based environment that promotes clinical excellence and compassionate care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
