Overview

Pediatric Specialty Care at Lancaster is seeking a caring and detail-oriented team player to join our team as a RN Supervisor.

Position Overview:

• Seeking an RN Supervisor to oversee nursing care, supervise nursing personnel, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Assistant or Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day tasks include:

• Responding immediately to individuals’ requests
• Supervising nursing care services and staff on all units
• Promoting facility safety programs
• Possibly serving as Infection Preventionist Nurse
• Assuming responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant or Director of Nursing

Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania RN license and registration
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in a leadership role; pediatric, hospital, or long-term care experience required
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred
• Creative problem-solving skills and diplomatic handling of issues required
• Effective supervision skills and high standards of care
• Experience in nursing education or in-service training preferred
• Ability to relate well to residents aged birth to 21 years; respectful and caring attitude required
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level
