Job summary

Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Carthage, NY is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing staff and oversee resident care. The role is a full-time night shift from 11pm to 7am with focus on safety, care quality, and team supervision.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license.
• Minimum 3 years Long-Term Care experience required.
• Should be a strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff.
• Familiar with EHR and Prescribing programs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign nursing staff to complete resident care requirements.
• Provide support to residents & families to create a compassionate environment.
• Answer questions and requests to provide information to residents & staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following rules and regulations.
• Monitor confidential information processing to protect resident privacy.
• Document resident care services accurately.
• Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams.

Duties:

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents & families
• Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe & clean working environment by implementing rules & regulations
• Ensure resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Manage documentation of resident care services
• Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams
