Carthage Center in Carthage, NY, is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). Current CNA state certification is required. Base pay ranges $18.50–$20.50 per hour with a $0.65 evening/night shift differential. A $2,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 retention bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal care: hygiene, bed baths, shaving.
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements as directed.
• Make beds and keep resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

REQUIREMENTS:

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data
