Position Summary

This role involves coordinating total resident care, supervising nursing units, and ensuring compliance with professional standards, facility policies, and regulations. The RN Nursing Supervisor must have advanced training and broad nursing experience, including supervisory duties.

Responsibilities

1. Verify daily staffing and redistribute as necessary.
2. Collaborate with charge nurses on resident care and communicate with other departments.
3. Perform rounds to assess residents, especially critically ill ones.
4. Ensure care plans are followed.
5. Perform medication passes and direct care as needed.
6. Participate in resident care committee meetings.
7. Reinforce training and orientation of nursing staff.
8. Handle emergencies and ensure safety and sanitation.
9. Review incident reports.
10. Monitor meal services and resident satisfaction.
11. Assist in quality improvement initiatives.
12. Provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Educational & Vocational Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current registration.
• Experience in nursing, including supervisory experience in long-term care.
