Right at Home Peachtree City is currently seeking a PRN RN Supervisor.

Same Day Pay available.

Essential Functions

The licensed registered professional nurse shall supervise the provision of personal care tasks for clients who are medically frail or compromised and may also supervise companions. Such supervisor may perform other duties as long as supervisory responsibilities are fulfilled.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current unrestricted State Registered Nurse license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• One year of continuous nursing experience or equivalent.
• Ability to meet Agency’s bonding criteria, including no credible evidence of abuse, neglect, sexual assault, exploitation, or serious injury induced by intentional or grossly negligent misconduct and no material false statements regarding qualifications.
• Valid driver’s license, available personal vehicle, and proof of current auto insurance.
• Concise verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Five years of verifiable employment history, or a complete employment history if employment has not exceeded five years.
• Administrator of a satisfactory TB screening test upon employment and annually thereafter.

Desired Qualifications

• Extensive assessment skills.
• At least two years of nursing experience and ACLS certification.
• At least one year of work in home care industry.

Physical Requirements

1. Effective communication and interaction with families, co-workers, and supervisors.
2. Proficiently follow and process written and verbal instructions in English.
3. Hearing and visual capacities sufficient for accurate communication and recording of clinical information.
4. Ability to lift, turn, and transfer clients in need.

General Responsibilities

1. Supervise caregiver staff by making supervisory visits to each client’s residence as required by state regulations and provide written documentation of all visits.
2. Conduct and document competency demonstrations of PCA providers at least annually for required tasks.
3. Adhere to agency infection control and safety procedures by performing and documenting nursing observations, procedures, and interventions in the home according to the established care plan.
4. Effectively communicate and interact with clients, caregivers, and families in a supportive manner.
5. Manage client caseload and associated duties within agency resources and standards.
6. Interpret agency programs and policies as appropriate to clients and community members.
7. Participate in quality care commitment, including attendance at mandatory staff meetings.
8. Appropriately delegate these responsibilities when necessary only to another staff member who is a licensed RN, Physician Assistant, or Physician in the state.

Assessment and Reassessment Responsibilities

1. Initiate service plan including securing and updating complete and accurate physician orders as needed.
2. Develop service plan based on assessment and identification of environmental, behavioral, physical, and psychosocial client/family needs.
3. Teach, coordinate, and supervise family members and agency personnel (PCAs, companions, nurses, and administrative staff) in client care.
4. Evaluate client, family, and caregiver response and compliance with care, including assessment of client’s general condition, vital signs, progress, problems, and satisfaction with services.
5. Update care plan to reflect changes in client/family needs, abilities, and resources.
6. Interpret and document, on a timely basis, in‑home care provided to ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including client clinical records.
