Registered Nurse (RN) - Subacute at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA
This is a per diem position for the NOC Shift.
Reporting to the Director and/or Nurse Manager of Sub-acute Nursing, the RN responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and documentation of patients' treatment plans, as well as providing education to patients' and residents' families. The RN will directly supervise nursing care to ensure the highest quality of care in accordance with Sub-acute standards and Policies and Procedures.
Essential Knowledge / Skills: Successful completion of a ventilator/tracheostomy skills competency within the first seven (7) days during orientation and annually thereafter.
Minimum Essential Experience: At least six (6) months of Sub-Acute experience preferred. Additionally, at least six (6) months of recent experience within the past two years in a general acute care facility or an equivalent competency in caring for tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent patients, appropriate to the facility's patient care focus.
Required Licensure / Certifications: Current California RN license and BCLS (CPR). ACLS certification is preferred.
