Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the 5 East stroke unit. The RN will collaborate with care navigators, hospitalists, and neuro hospitalists to optimize patient outcomes and promote return to normal function.

The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassionate care, and building a safe patient environment across the continuum of care. Strong nursing licensure and BLS are required.

Competenze

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Current RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

5 East is a 20 bed stroke unit which has just passed our 16th year of being DNV/Joint Commission Stroke certified.. We work closely with our care navigators, hospitalist as well as our neuro hospitalists to ensure quality outcomes giving the patients the best chance of returning to normal function as possible.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Add additional preferred qualifications

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is a nationally recognized academic medical center, nationally-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, Magnet ® hospital for nursing, and serves a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons.
