Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown FTE Night

This position is located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. It is a Full-Time night shift role, reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.

The RN in the Stepdown Unit is responsible for adult and geriatric patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the guidelines of the California Nurse Practice Act. The role includes maintaining nursing standards, achieving optimal patient outcomes, and supervising nursing staff.

Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965, is a 238-bed community hospital with a 160-bed acute care unit and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It employs over 1,250 healthcare professionals and has a diverse medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year ICU/StepDown/PCU experience preferred.
• Critical Care course required for new grads and RN's with less than one year experience within 9 months of employment start date.
• Current California RN license required.
• Basic Arrhythmia or 12-Lead EKG certification preferred.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of start date.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
• CCRN and NIH Stroke Scale Certification preferred.
