Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA
This is a per diem position.
Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, this position assumes accountability for all aspects of adult and geriatric patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the guidelines of the California Nurse Practice Act. The RN is responsible for maintaining nursing standards and achieving optimal patient outcomes in the Stepdown Unit. The role includes supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
The Corona Regional Medical Center has a rich history dating back to 1965, evolving from Corona Community Hospital to a 238-bed community hospital network, including a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The hospital is certified by The Joint Commission, employs over 1,250 healthcare workers, and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians across more than 40 specialties.
