Job summary

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Patient Care Services Team in Detroit, MI. The RN will manage patient care for a group of patients and families with independent judgment, collaborating with physicians, ancillary and support staff to ensure high-quality nursing care.

The role emphasizes leadership, teaching, supervision, and teamwork, with a day shift in a full‑time capacity. A sign‑on bonus of up to $25,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in Michigan is required.
• BSN is preferred for this role.
• Graduation from a school of nursing is required.

Job Summary

The RN manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members including ancillary and support services. The role encompasses leadership, partnership, collaboration, teaching, and supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
