REGISTERED NURSES (RN LICENSE REQUIRED)

Full Time, Nights

Job Description:

1. Ensure quality nursing care for patients by following physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies.
2. Administer medications (oral, SQ, IM, IV) as prescribed.
3. Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
4. Assist physicians during rounds and examinations.
5. Care for patients during rounds, physical exams, and treatments.
6. Perform scheduled treatments and maintain infection control measures.
7. Follow all regulations related to cleanliness, infection control, and precautions.
8. Participate in research and assist with records and assessments for new admissions.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license from North Carolina.
2. Maintain current license and provide proof of renewal biannually.
3. Deliver quality nursing care, follow doctor’s orders, and show interest in geriatric nursing.
4. CPR certification required annually.
5. Attend required training and staff meetings.
6. Supervise nursing assistants ensuring timely and appropriate work completion.
7. Dependable, flexible, patient, and tactful in interactions with patients, families, and staff.
8. Ability to make informed nursing decisions, understanding the serious consequences of errors.
