Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. Join a Magnet-designated 16-bed ED affiliated with a Level I Trauma Center, providing 24/7 care in a dynamic setting in the Charlotte area.

Requires completion of an accredited nursing program, RN license, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire; 1 year of CC experience preferred. You’ll deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care, coordinate patient needs, and contribute to a team-focused environment committed

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license in the practicing state.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Where You Will Work:

SouthPark Emergency Department is a Magnet-designated facility and a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department located in the SouthPark area, a vibrant suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. We provide comprehensive 24/7 emergency services and are proudly affiliated with the CMC Level I Trauma Center, ensuring seamless access to advanced trauma and specialty care when needed. Through a unique, team-based approach to patient care, our department consistently achieves some of the region’s highest patient satisfaction and team engagement scores, reflecting our commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate service.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of Critical Care experience preferred

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
