Qualifications

• RN license valid in Iowa and active or activation-able.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Empathy, respect, patience and discretion in caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit ensuring quality care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, providers and interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols.
