Job summary

Regency at Livonia is seeking an RN to join its skilled nursing team. The facility emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork, offering opportunities for leadership and career advancement within a premier Michigan senior care provider.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, supervising LPNs/CNAs, administering medications, and updating care plans based on assessments. Michigan RN licensure and CPR certification are required or current, with LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• CPR certification required or current.

• Plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services and health education to residents.
• Supervise care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Assess residents' health and notify physician of changes; implement new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and development of a plan of care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, provides and manages nursing care, services and health education to nursing home guests.

• Supervise the care/services provided by the LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members who care for guests
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications
• Contribute to guest assessments (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a plan of care

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state CPR certification
