Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Modesto, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU night shifts. The role emphasizes planning, directing, and delivering individualized patient care using the nursing process. A BSN is preferred and 1+ year ICU experience is required.

LS-qualified candidates must hold a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 6 months of hire), and complete additional certifications (NIHSS module within 6 months). Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 offered based on experience.

Reporting to the Patient Care Services Director/Shift Manager, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process.

Minimum Education: BSN preferred.

Minimum Experience/Skills: Must have 1+ years ICU experience.

License/Certificates/Credentials: Current: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 6 months of hire for new grads only), TCAR required within 12 months of hire/transfer . For current employees/transfers who have TNCC, TCAR must be obtained by October 1, 2019. PALS for relief charge only. Must obtain National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education module within 6 months of hire or transfer into unit and must maintain thereafter. CCRN preferred.
