Registered Nurse, RN - Short Stay Unit (SSU), Nights

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse, RN for the Short Stay Unit (SSU) in Lowell, MA.

Job Summary:

Unit Summary:

This fast-paced, high-intensity work environment cares for patients in a 10-bed observation unit, with a focus on med-surg, tele, and step-down care, typically with a stay of less than 48 hours. This role is ideal for nurses with strong med-surg, tele, and step-down experience.

Hours:

24 hours per week, Night Shift, every third weekend.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical experience preferred; telemetry experience is a plus.
  • Current RN licensure in MA in good standing.
  • Associates Degree required; BSN strongly preferred.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
