Unit Summary:

This short stay work environment will be fast paced with high intensity of services and deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. Patients in this 10-bed observation unit will be med surg tele and step down level of acuity with a less than 48-hour length of stay. This is a great opportunity for registered nurses with strong med surg, med surg tele, and step down experience to make a difference for patients in the new Short Stay Unit.

Hours: 24 hours per week, Day Shift, 7A-7P, Every Third Weekend

Qualifications:

• RN Massachusetts license required
• BSN strongly preferred
• Associate’s degree required
• 1-2 years Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Must have excellent time management and communication skills
• RN candidates must be able to use electronic based charting systems. Cerner experience is preferred.
• BLS required and ACLS preferred
