UMMC is the flagship academic medical center at the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) located in downtown Baltimore.
Job Summary
The Shock Trauma PACU is a 12-bay unit with a 24/7 team, providing peri-anesthesia care specializing in traumatic injury management 365 days a year. Vigilant pre and post-operative care is provided to outpatients and inpatients undergoing scheduled or emergency surgery by more than 20 surgical and procedural services. This team also supports the mission of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center through clinical flexibility outside traditional peri-anesthesia care, including procedural space and patient overflow from the Trauma Resuscitation Unit. Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration, and fluid resuscitation.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $38.51 - $51.81
