Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs, while promoting teamwork and adherence to nursing standards.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care. Missouri licensure is required and prior RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical care preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced unit and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Position Summary

Performs the primary function of a Registered Professional Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, educating and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. Is responsible for managing all assigned personal supplies, and equipment on the unit . Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: Nursing Degree

Experience: Previous RN Medical/Surgical experience

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
