Job summary

Lifepoint Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. You will deliver compassionate care to patients recovering from serious injuries or illness, and collaborate with therapists and physicians to tailor rehab plans to individual goals.

We offer a 3x12 day shift and RN-to-patient ratios from 1:4 to 1:6, with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license (Montana) or compact license; PSOR relocation if applicable.
• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.
• BSN degree preferred by the facility.
• BLS certification required; ALS/CCRN preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients recovering from serious injury, illness, or surgery.
• Assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and monitor progress toward rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, self-care, medications, and discharge needs.
• Promote patient independence while maintaining a safe rehabilitation environment.
• Document care and respond to changes in patient condition.

Wage scale: $42.86-$70.31 per hour

Our Rehab RNs care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, trauma, amputation, and orthopedic injuries through individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's goals.

How You'll Contribute

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state of Montana RN license or compact. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. and possess an associate's degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.

Additional Requirements Include

• Education: Bachelor's degree (BSN) preferred
• Certifications: BLS certification required, ALS and CCRN preferred
• Experience: Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
