Job summary

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Madison is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN daytime role in a new 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation setting in Madison, Mississippi. The RN will perform assessments, deliver care, document activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications include an RN license, BSN/ADN, CPR/BCLS, and preferred ACLS and CRRN credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.
• Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates and implements appropriate nursing interventions.
• Delivers patient care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Documents medical necessity and nursing activities timely and accurately.
• Completes and revises Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.

Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital - Madison is a brand new, 40-bed bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Madison, Mississippi opening this fall. How you'll contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides patient and family teaching throughout the rehabilitation stay and prior to discharge.
• Provides care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Works cooperatively and actively participates with other members of the interdisciplinary team

What We're Looking For

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care through assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
