Job summary

Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is a state-of-the-art 57-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility in Knoxville. We’re seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Rehabilitation unit, full-time nights, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

You will deliver evidence-based nursing care and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery after stroke, brain injury, or orthopedic trauma.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ASN or Diploma).
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred; CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education.

Department/Unit Summary

Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharges planning process.

Qualifications And Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
• CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
• CRRN Preferred
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
