Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, KS, is seeking a night-shift, part-time Rehabilitation Unit Registered Nurse to join its team. You will coordinate safe patient care and support a patient-centered approach in a dynamic care setting.

Requirements include Kansas RN licensure, an Associate's degree in nursing, and BLS. ACLS is required for Tele, ICU, and PCU; oncology certification is needed after surgery, with all certifications completed within the first year.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.
• Assess patient/family needs, develop and prioritize patient goals, evaluate care delivery, and revise the plan of care to meet needs.
• Delegate care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse functions under the direction of the Nurse Director/Manager and is responsible for coordination of safe patient care delivery for specified and diverse patient populations.
• The RN assesses patient/family needs, develops and prioritizes patient goals, evaluates care delivery, and continually revised the plan of care to meet the biological, emotional, psychosocial, spiritual, developmental, and educational needs of the patient/family.
• The RN Delegates care as appropriate to optimize patient outcomes.
• The RN adheres to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
