Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Tulsa, OK. The role involves applying the nursing process to care for patients in the recovery room within Hillcrest Hospital South, a major Tulsa facility known for orthopedic excellence and Pathway to Excellence recognition.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license (state or multi-state).
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within 6 months of date of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the hospital's mission, vision, and values and provide nursing care using the nursing process.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments; supervise, delegate, and coordinate unit staff when in charge.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice as required by AORN and the facility.

Position has the responsibility for supporting the mission, vision, values of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process when providing care to all patients; meeting the established standards of the AORN nursing practice in supervising, delegating, and coordinating personnel assigned to the unit when in charge; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS within 6 months of date of hire
• PALS within 6 months of date of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more current years of acute care experience as a RN with (1) year peri-operative nursing experience
