Job summary

Ardent is seeking a night shift, full-time Rapid Admission Unit Registered Nurse in Albuquerque, NM. You will provide professional nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and lead teams during crises in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing, NM license or NM compact license within 90 days, and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Strong teamwork and patient-flow focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Nurses must be licensed in NM or have NM compact license within 90 days.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per nursing standards to patients with various diagnoses.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to prevent crises.
• Serve as team leader during patient crisis situations.
• May function as staff RN in ICU, ED, or other high-acuity areas as needed.
• Assist admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow.

• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• According to nursing care standards, provides professional nursing care services to patients with a variety of diagnoses.
• Has responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patients that could potentially result in a patient crisis situation.
• Seen as team leader during patient crisis situations.
• During high acuity or crisis situations, may function as a staff RN in the ICU, ED or designated areas of need.
• Assist with the admission and discharge processes and paperwork for optimal patient flow.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS, PALS
