Job summary

University Radiology in East Brunswick, NJ, seeks an experienced RN for 1-2 days per diem, 8:00am–4:30pm based on need in our imaging office. The role supports radiologists with emergency procedures, IV access, and patient care across radiology services.

Candidates must hold an active NJ RN license, ACLS certification, and be proficient in peripheral IV insertion; radiology nursing experience is preferred and safety of emergency equipment must be maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have emergency procedure skills and experience to assist radiologists.
• Proficient in peripheral IV insertion.
• Has a capable knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the procedures performed.
• Assures the continued safe operation of emergency equipment.
• IV and ACLS certifications are required
• Critical care, emergency medicine and/or radiology nursing experience is preferred
• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey required

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 200 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

University Radiology is looking for an experience RN to work 1 - 2 Days Per Diem from 800am - 430pm based on need in our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office.
