Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Radiology in the Evening shift. This full-time role covers MRI and CT services, with a 3:30pm–12:00am schedule and rotating holidays, based in Brooklyn.

You will provide evidence-based nursing care, collaborate with the radiology team, and ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• New York State RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year med-surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing in Radiology (MRI/CT) during evenings.
• Collaborate with imaging team to ensure patient safety.
• Manage patient assessment, medications and documentation during shifts.
• Adhere to on-site presence and rotating holiday coverage.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior radiology experience
• Prior critical care experience

Required Criteria

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• New York State Registered Nurse License
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association
• 1 year med-surg experience
