Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Radiology Department. This is a full-time day shift position with required call, Monday through Friday, 7:00am–2:45pm.

The RN will assist radiology with cardiac tests, start IVs, monitor vitals, and deliver care per the nursing process. Required RN license; ACLS and BLS within set timelines; BSN/MSN preferred; acute care and EKG knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• RN license required; BSN/MSN preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.
• Experience in acute care and EKG procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support radiology with cardiac testing such as nuclear stress tests, MRI, and CTA.
• Check vitals, start IVs, and administer medications as needed.

Up to $15,000 sign on bonus available for qualified candidates! Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Radiology Department. This is a full-time day shift position in Elizabeth City, NC with required call.

Hours

Mon-Fri, 7:00am-2:45pm; Holidays may be required depending on departmental needs

The Radiology Registered Nurse will support radiology with cardiac specific testing such as nuclear stress testing, MRI, and CTA's; procedures not limited to but including paracentesis, thoracentesis and biopsies. Check patient vitals, start IV's and administer medications as needed. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Qualifications

• Education Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
• Certification/Licensure Registered nursing License (Required)
• ACLS required prior to completion of orientation
• BLS required within 90 days of hire
• Experience Acute care experience strongly preferred
• EKG knowledge and procedures
• Self-motivated, can work in fast-paced environment

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
