Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an RN, Quality Improvement Specialist to join our Quality and Patient Safety department. In this role, you’ll help advance system-wide quality initiatives and support clinical excellence across the organization.

You’ll work closely with directors, managers, and frontline staff to provide guidance, research, education, and tools that support continuous improvement in patient care. This is a 1.0 FTE position with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Active Wisconsin RN license at time of hire.
• Minimum of 5 years of RN experience.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Experience with data analysis, quality improvement, or LEAN methodology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support performance improvement projects.
• Serve as a resource on evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with departments on process design.
• Support compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state regulations, and organizational policies.

As a clinically focused partner, you’ll serve as a consultant, educator, and advisor in quality improvement, patient safety, evidence-based practice, and population health integration. You’ll work closely with directors, managers, and frontline staff to provide guidance, research, education, and tools that support continuous improvement in patient care.
