Mercy in Missouri is seeking a Neurology RN for 8 East: PT daytime shift. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, perform assessments, and coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
The role emphasizes patient safety, documentation, and compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with Mercy's mission. New grads are welcome; BLS required; Missouri RN license or compact state.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical 8 East, PT, Day
Neurology 8 East cares for patients with conditions such as strokes, seizures, brain tumors, and brain bleeds. Nurses gain valuable experience with complex neuro assessments, safety-focused care, and close collaboration with neurology providers and therapy teams.
The Neurology RN provides direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessments, care coordination, documentation, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care consistent with Mercy's mission and values.
