Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC, is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-bed PCU co-located with an 8-bed ICU. The unit provides care for patients with diverse medical conditions requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions, with a collaborative, growth-minded team.

The role emphasizes evidence-based nursing, clinical decision making, and leadership to ensure a safe environment and excellent patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of PCU experience preferred.

This 13-bed PCU will be co-located with a 8-bed ICU, offering a collaborative and dynamic environment for patient care. This low-to-moderate acuity PCU will specialize in caring for patients with a range of medical conditions requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. Our team works closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including physicians from multiple specialties, to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
