Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Cardiac Care Stepdown - Springfield Regional Medical Center

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Cardiac Care Stepdown at Springfield Regional Medical Center with Conduit Health Partners.

Position Overview: The Stepdown RN provides comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including data collection, assessment, care planning, and evaluation, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role involves patient education, care coordination, and managing patients with complex conditions such as multi-system organ failure or trauma.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
  • Administer medications safely and according to policies.
  • Coordinate care across hospital departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety advocacy.
  • Manage care for patients with complex medical conditions.
Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in applicable state or covered by a compact license.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 6 months in acute care preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, CCRN, PCCN, NIH Stroke are preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
