Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. You will coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient education for post-hospital recovery.

Under the direction of nursing leadership, you may assume Charge Nurse duties as ACLS certification is met. Current state RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS within 90 days of start is also expected.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required in the state where the hospital resides.
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care for medical-surgical units.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Pay Range

USD $54.00 - USD $58.00 /Hr.
